My Ethos

The Qualitative Insight Studio was founded with a singular mission: To bring research to life.

My approach has been established over 20 years of conducting and publishing research, supervising postgraduate students, and teaching qualitative research methods.

I strongly believe that engagement is at the heart of both using and teaching qualitative methods. Learning about qualitative research should be exciting, dynamic, and thought provoking. In turn, qualitative methods can be used to create emotive, storied, and rich insights which lead to meaningful change.

The studio creates a space where thoughtful conversations start. Training individuals in a range of methods and working with organisations and researchers to bridge the gap between research and practice.
